Background
River Caravans is a family-owned Melbourne manufacturer established in 2010, bringing over 48 years of combined industry experience. They deliberately limit production to 150 vans per year to maintain quality control and hand-built craftsmanship.
Manufacturing
All caravans are built at their Somerton, VIC facility. The company also produces its own chassis via C&R Chassis (established 2019), giving them end-to-end control over the build process. Models include the Diamantina, Dominator, Dreamliner, and Family series. Available through dealers (Caravan Court, RV Central) and direct from the factory.
Market Position
River Caravans differentiates through their deliberately limited production volume and vertically integrated manufacturing (including in-house chassis production). This positions them in the mid-to-premium price segment.
