Latitude RV

Background

Latitude RV launched in 2019. The brand is owned and operated by Caravan R Us, based in the town of Newcomb, Victoria. The founders decided to create their own brand where they could control how vans were designed, built, and priced — directly incorporating customer feedback into the development process.

Since its launch, Latitude RV has attracted a growing following, particularly among buyers seeking off-road capability at a competitive price point.

Ownership & Structure

Latitude RV is a brand owned by Caravans R Us, a caravan dealership based in Newcomb, Victoria. Caravans R Us owns the brand name and has control over design, manufacturing specifications, and pricing. Dealer-owned brands are common in Australia. The dealer specifies the product from what it has learned selling vans.

Manufacturing

Latitude RV caravans are built in Victoria. Every model features a full 6-inch chassis and a matching 6-inch A-frame, providing maximum strength and stability for both on-road and off-road conditions. The chassis and suspension are built for Australian roads. CampSpec does not have a published note on whether the vans are built in-house or by a contract manufacturer.

Market Position

Latitude RV sits in the mid-range off-road caravan segment. The brand blends practicality with comfort, aiming to offer capable touring caravans at competitive prices. The direct dealer-brand relationship (through Caravans R Us) allows for tighter control over the customer experience and pricing. The focus on off-road durability and the full 6-inch chassis sets a minimum standard across the range.
