About Windsor Caravans
Background
Windsor is one of Australia’s most iconic caravan brands, with heritage dating back to the early 1970s when it was originally established in Melbourne. The brand was acquired by Apollo Tourism & Leisure (part of the THL group, which also owns Winnebago, Coromal, Maui, Britz, and Kea) in 2018. Production relocated from Melbourne to Apollo’s purpose-built 20,000sqm facility in Queensland.
Manufacturing
All caravans and motorhomes are manufactured at Apollo’s Northgate, Brisbane facility using composite construction technology. The caravan range includes Genesis (touring), Wild (semi off-road), and Rapid (hybrid off-road). Motorhome ranges include Daintree, Flinders, and Simpson. Windsor offers 24/7 roadside assistance with their vehicles. Sold through a national dealer network.
Market Position
Windsor leverages over 50 years of brand heritage combined with Apollo’s corporate manufacturing scale and national service infrastructure. The brand covers touring, semi off-road, and motorhome segments, making it a broad-appeal choice backed by a large corporate group.
