Vecto Caravans is a relatively new Australian caravan manufacturer that grew from an idea by six former automotive industry workers into a reality over three years. The founding team brings a combined total of 75 years’ experience across the automotive, caravan, and building industries. The company debuted at the Geelong Outdoor Living Show in Victoria.

Vecto builds a fibreglass insulated composite structure through the floor, walls and roof. The company operates a factory-direct retail model, selling straight to consumers without dealer intermediaries.

Manufacturing

Located in Werribee, an industrial area approximately 24km south-west of Melbourne. Vecto currently builds a range of six hardtop caravans with body lengths spanning 18ft to 22ft in various family and couples layouts. The composite construction uses fibreglass panels and insulated composite framing throughout.

Market Position

Mid-range touring caravans with premium construction methods. The factory-direct model allows them to offer competitive pricing by eliminating dealer margins. The 5-year structural warranty positions them as confident in their build quality. They compete in the same space as brands like Viscount, Regent, and other Victorian touring van makers.
