About Atlas Caravans

Background

Atlas Caravans was founded in 2021 by Aleks Bumbroski, who brings a background as a diesel mechanic and experience in caravan manufacturing. The company was established with a focus on keeping things simple and streamlined to emphasise quality and value for money. Despite being a young brand, Atlas has attracted positive attention from professional reviewers.

Atlas Caravans is proudly Australian-owned, designed, and manufactured in Melbourne, with a philosophy inspired by the founders’ own caravanning adventures.

Ownership & Structure

Privately owned by founder Aleks Bumbroski. Family-owned business operating from Melbourne, Victoria. Sells through the factory and selected dealers including Freestyle RVs.

Manufacturing

Designed and manufactured in Melbourne, Victoria. Key construction features include aluminium frame construction for rigidity and longevity, one-piece roof and floor construction to minimise leak points, and optional lithium battery systems (up to 800Amp on RVX models) with solar capability up to 1,000W. The RVX range features airbag suspension for off-road use. All models come with Projecta power management systems.

Market Position

Mid-range off-road caravan segment. Atlas offers the RVO (off-road) and RVX (premium off-road with airbag suspension) ranges across multiple layout configurations. The range carries a 5-year structural warranty.
